Apply direct pressure to the wound with a clean cloth. Elevate the injured area above heart level if possible. Call emergency services immediately for severe bleeding.
For unconscious person: Check breathing, call 108, then perform chest compressions at 100-120 per minute. Continue until help arrives or person regains consciousness.
Cool the burn with running water for 10-15 minutes. Don't use ice. Cover with clean, dry cloth. Seek medical help for severe burns or burns on face/hands.
Keep the person still and calm. Don't move them unless necessary. Apply ice pack wrapped in cloth to reduce swelling. Monitor for signs of concussion.
Don't induce vomiting unless instructed by poison control. Call emergency services immediately. Keep the person calm and collect any containers or substances involved.
Move to cool place, remove excess clothing, apply cool water or ice packs. Fan the person and give cool water if conscious. Call emergency services immediately.
For conscious person: Stand behind them, place hands above navel, give quick upward thrusts. For unconscious: Start CPR. Call emergency services immediately.
Don't move the injured person unless necessary. Immobilize the injured area with splints or padding. Apply ice to reduce swelling. Seek immediate medical attention.
Stay calm and time the seizure. Clear area of dangerous objects. Cushion head and turn on side. Never put anything in mouth. Stay with person until fully conscious.
Never touch person in contact with electricity. Turn off power source first. Call 108 immediately. Check breathing and start CPR if needed. All shocks need medical evaluation.
Help person sit upright. Assist with rescue inhaler - 1 puff every 30-60 seconds, up to 10 puffs. Call 108 if no improvement in 5 minutes or blue lips appear.
Remove from water safely. Check breathing immediately. Start CPR with 5 rescue breaths first if not breathing. Keep warm and monitor for secondary drowning symptoms.
Call 108 immediately. Use EpiPen if available - inject in outer thigh, hold 3 seconds. Position lying flat with legs elevated. Second dose may be needed after 5-15 minutes.
Call 108 immediately. Lay person flat and elevate legs 12 inches. Keep warm with blanket. Loosen tight clothing. Don't give food or water. Monitor breathing constantly.
Call 108 immediately - time is critical. Help person rest comfortably. Give aspirin 300mg to chew if available. Loosen tight clothing. Be ready for CPR. Stay calm and reassure.
For unconscious persons who are breathing. Place on side with arm supporting head. Tilt head back to open airway. Prevents choking. Monitor breathing continuously.
